Mi Jalapeno in Marion

Today I had the Red Snapper meal. Mmmmm ..the best fish I have ever ate! My new favorite meal there!!!

Great food!!!! Definitely authentic and not the white-mex traditional place. Will definitely go back!!The service was very good. Tables could be a little bigger. Got a little cramped but all-in-all... great food, atmosphere, and drinks!!!

The food was as exactly as I remembered from when there was one in the city I live that got shut down. Absolutely amazing.

Always great food. One little secret that not very many people know is they have some AWESOME coffee here. Trust me on this one you won't be sorry.

Delicious. I'm about as white as white can be and I can't pronounce Mexican words or understand almost anything that they say. I just point to the picture and they bring me a sizzling pile of deliciousness. Updated 10/12/19. Went again and for the first time have something negative to say. One of the female employees was snapping her gum the entire time I was there. I could hear her all the way in the kitchen. Snap snap snap nonstop, really loud. Extremely annoying. Taking a star off until I go again and no gum snapping.

I have been eating here for years and have never had a bad experience once. Love the atmosphere, service, and of course the food!! No Mexican restaurant anywhere beats mi jalapeño!

The food was ok at this location. The service was so bad I had to get our own drink refills, ketchup (for the kids) and hot sauce for the table. Every other table around us had the server do this for them.

First time coming to MI Jalapeño. Food was ok. Everything tasted good, but I wasn't blown away. My dish (two burritos) did not come with rice and beans, so I got Mexican rice on the side. Honestly, the rice was better than the burritos. Huge portion of rice. Service was ok. They were pretty busy and we had a party of nine. I only got my drink refilled twice. If I'm in the area again, I may go back.CCW friendly

Go to this restaurant approximately twice a month and yesterday was the best service that I've ever had there we were promptly seated. And before I actually even sitting down our waitress had already taken our drink order. We had chips and salsa and drinks within the first three minutes. Our water was taken a short three to five minutes later and we received an approximately 12 to 15 minutes later hot and fresh and perfection. I had the shrimp enchiladas the flour tortillas and my wife had the pork carnitas. In addition to the salsa with our chips I did also order a side of white queso cheese which is the best around. I cannot recommend this restaurant in Marion Ohio and is the best restaurant for Mexican food that I know of.

I'm longtime customer who has been away for a while. Coming back was disappointing. The service was good, but the food was not. My enchiladas were very greasy, salty, and had a gritty, unpleasant texture. I could very much tell they were frozen and reheated. The rice and beans were not very flavorful. My girlfriend is not feeling well after her meal. The difference between this visit and my last were staggering. We were incredulous about the change in quality. Unless things get better, we won't be back.

The food is really good and the service is normally good and fast. Prices are more then they used to be, but that happens everywhere.

Great Food and Margaritas

Delicious! It definitely looks and feels like a Mexican villa or something inside. You get chips, and a VERY mild salsa- the menu is medium to large, and divided into sections, with a la carte, vegetarian, seafood, and kids separate. I highly recommend the Chile Colorado, but get yourself some extra tortillas for it. I don't think they give enough.

Lots of food. Someday I'll learn to order one fajita dinner for both of us. We each ate half of our own. Took a whole dinner home.

sticky dirty menus detract from the good food. new chairs give the place more class. wish the fountains up front were functioning, would make this place very classy

Great food, nice setting, and great service! Food is reasonably priced and a variety of choices. Large servings even at lunch, took half of my fajitas home for dinner!

Always delicious, and the customer service is always great! I go for my birthday every year, but my husband an I try to work on a date night here every couple months. We're never disappointed!

I love this place. I always get the same thing every time I come here, and it tastes amazing every time. However, I will have to admit, sometimes the chips tastes like soap but its whatever.

Mi Jalapeno pulls out all the stops for a colorful and delicious experience. Our food has always been consistently satisfying and delicious and very well priced. I discovered the Vegetable Burrito last visit and was very satisfied. It contained all the elements I enjoy, guacamole, grilled veggies, rice and sour cream. I recommend it!
